Yoga is one of my favorite things. I love anything that allows me to be peaceful and in the moment. I’ve done yoga in the fancy studios, in the chill studios, in Puerto Rico on the beach, and even Yoga With Adriene in my home office when I can’t make it out of the house (new baby anyone?).
Adriene’s signature saying is to Find What Feels Good. I love taking time to pray and experience the direction I’m supposed to go in. To allow my thinking, which can get intense, to rest. This releases the organic energy, intuition, to guide me toward the best decision. My brain and my will alone are not enough.
We all want to make the right decisions for our life. We all have big dreams and are figuring out how to get there. Sometimes it is just best to stop all the thinking and just be. When is the last time you had quiet time? The clarity that comes with this is priceless. The answers you receive will surprise you. The best part is, when we make a choice, we do not have to justify it. If you have any hesitation for any reason, don’t do it. If you have a small issue, believe it. It will become a big issue later. Sometimes it is enough to move forward in peace knowing we have moved in the direction that feels right. Trust yourself.
