I have always been passionate about health and wellness. My family experienced significant medical events during my childhood that molded my mission and purpose. Over the past ten years, my contribution to this work has involved serving school districts, health departments, and my one-on-one clients. I have long offered services like wellness coach trainings, health education and signature talks, and I’m now excited to add products to my wellness portfolio.
A lifetime of skin conditions inspired me to create Refinne. The pain and itching of eczema was too much to bear many days. I finally hacked my condition through dietary modifications and creating my own skincare products. Refinne my new collection of plant-based, paraben free skincare for multicultural women.
The first product I ever made was cream eyeshadow 20 years ago, then I made my own hair oils, and now skincare. I put my degree in chemistry to use to assess key ingredients and curate skincare that also embraces self-care and giving back. We have committed to contribute to girls from marginalized communities worldwide.
We want to work on mission, on purpose for the duration of our lives. How can we create something that is meaningful and sustainable? What’s next for your business and your life?
