Coping with COVID-19

Protect yourself from the constant COVID19 fear messaging. Mental health and self-care are critical during this time.

Stay calm, yet prepared. Check the CDC site daily at 5p ET or sign up for CNN daily emails. Sign up for your school district’s email list. Everything else in the media is just constantly inducing anxiety.

Let’s also be careful with the word quarantine. Quarantine is a legal mandate with legal consequences. Social distancing is the current recommendation we should all be honoring so that we don’t have future long-term consequences.
