Dr. Jennifer J. Edwards is a leader in health equity and multi-method evaluation. She has partnered with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as a grant-funded Principal Investigator. Additionally, she has served as committee Co-Chair for a World Health Organization (WHO) non-state actor organization. Jennifer also previously received NIH-sponsored research training.
Jennifer had an opportunity to write U.S. presidential appointee testimony submitted to the Congressional Record. She is also a research professor, national speaker, and reviewer for national journals including Public Health Reports, the peer-reviewed journal of the U.S. Surgeon General’s Office.
Jennifer earned a PhD in Health Communication & Culture, researching breast cancer screening among South African women, and a Graduate Certificate in International Studies from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry magna cum laude from Florida A&M University. Full CV available upon request.
